Holly is tied to Danny Quinn. First, she married actor Danny Quinn. In 1991 they married, but two years later, they divorced. Jim Carrey and she first came across each other in 1994, while auditioning for Ace Ventura Pet Detective. Though she was not offered the part in Ace Ventura: Pet Detective, they did form bonds during the course of filming Dumb and Dumber. In 1996 they were married. The couple divorced in less than one year. In 2001, she got married to Francis Greco. He was an Canadian investment banker. They had three sons, Henry, George and Alexander Holly Greco. When she got married in 2008 to Greco, she became the first Canadian citizen. They divorced in 2014. Holly reside in Oakville, Ontario, Canada along with her children. Holly and her family, including her father Grant and her mother created The A Fund, at Hobart College and William Smith Colleges, in 1992 in honor of her brother Alexander. Holly recalled that Alexander was "a young man with a lot of hope and desires". Though he only had 14 when he passed away, he had traveled extensively in Europe and Central America, lived in New York City and Los Angeles, and these experiences resulted in a passion for archaeology and the architecture.

Alaina Suddeth was born on November 8, 1994 from Rossville Georgia was the daughter of Kristy Suddeth, as well as J. J. Suddeth. Alaina began to sing when she was just three years old. The first time she sang in front of an audience was at a local kid singing group. The next time she performed in public were at an annual Christmas destination with the option of karaoke. She sang at church, in restaurants, during holiday weekends, and everywhere she could within a 30- mile distance. In 2009, Alaina was the first winner of the WinniSTAR youth talent competition in the Lake Winnepesaukah amusement park.In addition to performing, Alaina wrote several songs including Leaving and the song Set Me Free. Alaina the cousin of Holly Witherow who has a cancerous brain tumor, encouraged her to start singing. Alaina was a CiC's Pizza employee before she joined Idol. She graduated from Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe School, Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
