Aurora
Aurora Aksnes was born on 15 June 1996 in Stavanger, Norway. She is professionally known as Aurora and occasionally stylized using uppercase letters in the form of AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves was released by the label Decca Records in May 2015 receiving great approval from bloggers as well as the media. Half the World Away from Oasis was released by the group Oasis was recorded to accompany an advertisement of John Lewis, and Nature Boy is the Nat King Cole cover. Katy Perry's endorsement of her song Runaway in a blog post brought the singer additional acknowledgement. Celebrate her special day. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was finding a keyboard in her loft and being fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music not to get a job or a hobby however, as a chance to grow. She began to write with her own music. She is credited with Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen as well as Bjork as her main influences. When her mother told her that the songs she composed might not be famous for her, but instead to inspire people to realize their own value and impact to this world, she started singing them in public. She started playing piano when she was only six and was writing her first song when she was nine. It was unknown to her family members until she turned fourteen. Aurora's accomplishments were never the goal of her. She claims that she enjoys writing songs. She believes music can make any person feel better.
